Essentials for Analyzing Survey Data Using R

A hands-on module that teaches you to conduct statistical analyses of survey data in R Studio, with the datasets, questionnaire, and data dictionary you need to follow along.

Studies of behaviour, psychology, and health often require the use of surveys to collect self-reported data about a participant’s perceptions, motives, beliefs, and actions. Whether you are studying how and why people get vaccinated against a disease or why they engage in other health-related behaviours, such as exercise, socialization, or eating, surveys can provide insights into the behaviour of individuals and populations.

Surveys can be administered in a variety of formats, ranging from telephone surveys, paper questionnaires, or computer-assisted online surveys. While this review does not explore data collection, each of these types of surveys results in a dataset that will need to be analyzed.

Essentials for Analyzing Survey Data Using R will teach you how to conduct statistical analyses of survey data using R Studio.
